...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northern Coal, east
central Pontotoc and southeastern Hughes Counties through 915 AM
CDT...

At 839 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6
miles northeast of Stonewall, moving northeast at 55 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Tupelo, Stuart, and Gerty.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Severe weather is not expected and no warnings are anticipated at
this time.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
