FOR HARRISON...JEFFERSON...NORTHEASTERN GUERNSEY...SOUTHEASTERN
CARROLL...NORTHERN BELMONT...OHIO...MARSHALL AND BROOKE COUNTIES...

At 125 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Cadiz, moving
east at 55 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some
         power outages.

Locations impacted include...
Wheeling, Steubenville, Martins Ferry, St. Clairsville, Bellaire,
Barnesville, Cadiz, Warwood, Wellsburg, Bethlehem, West Liberty,
Triadelphia, Clearview, Valley Grove, Freeport, Wintersville, Mingo
Junction, Tiltonsville, Bridgeport, and Benwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 400 AM EDT for east central
Ohio...and northern West Virginia.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
