SOUTHWESTERN WAKE AND EASTERN CHATHAM COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM EDT...

At 1108 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of gusty
showers near Sanford, moving northeast at 20 mph. Another cluster of
gusty showers was near Duncan, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cary, Sanford, Pittsboro, Fuquay-Varina, Goldston, Apex, Holly
Springs, Morrisville, Broadway, and Seaforth Boat Dock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

These showers are capable of producing lightning. Boaters on the
open water and those camping outdoors are especially vulnerable to
the dangers of lightning. Seek harbor immediately and find safe
shelter in a nearby building or vehicle.
