...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN KIMBLE COUNTY
THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 935 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
The Intersection Of I-10 And Us 290, or 10 miles southeast of
Segovia, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
I-10 Near The Kimble-Kerr County Line and The Intersection Of I-10
And Us 290.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 471 and 477.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in San Angelo.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
west central Texas.
