.DISCUSSION...Skies will be partly cloudy this afternoon.
Highs will be in the upper 50s to mid 60s with minimum relative
humidity ranging from around 20 percent in western South Dakota to
around 35 percent in south central South Dakota. Winds will be
northwest 20 to 30 mph this afternoon with gusts around 45 mph
across northwestern South Dakota.

...LOW FIRE DANGER...

The grassland fire danger index will reach the low category this
afternoon. Favorable weather conditions or a high moisture
content of grasses, and other dry organic material on the ground,
indicate that the probability of a fast moving fire is low.
Outdoor burning under these conditions can usually be performed
with reasonable safety precautions, but should be monitored.

The outlook for Wednesday afternoon, The grassland fire danger
index will reach the low category.
