The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM MDT for
west central South Dakota.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 PM MDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN ZIEBACH AND EAST CENTRAL MEADE COUNTIES...

At 146 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles northwest of
Howes, or 22 miles south of Faith, moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Trained weather spotter confirmed.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Howes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
