The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northwestern Lonoke County in central Arkansas...
  Northeastern Grant County in central Arkansas...
  Southeastern Faulkner County in central Arkansas...
  Southwestern White County in central Arkansas...
  Eastern Pulaski County in central Arkansas...

* Until 530 PM CST.

* At 234 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  heavy rain falling across the warned area and up to two inches of
  rain have already fallen. Some area roadways are becoming
  inundated with water, epsecially near Little Rock, Jacksonville,
  and Cabot. Flash flooding is likely to occur as additional heavy
  rain moves across the area.

  This will impact the evening rush hour...exercise caution when
  driving and do not drive through high water!

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
