Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southern New England
National Weather Service Boston/Norton MA
358 PM EDT Sun May 20 2018

.DISCUSSION...
There will be a few showers into this evening in association with
a cold frontal passage.

It will be dry on Monday as high pressure builds over the region.
Expect sea breezes to develop on both coastlines by the
afternoon. Min RH values will drop to 25 to 30 percent away from
the coasts. At the coasts and Cape and islands, Min RH values will
be 30 to 50 percent.

The high will shift southeast of the region on Tuesday. Meanwhile,
low pressure approaching from the southwest will bring the chance
for rain in the afternoon and evening. The min RH values will be
50 to 65 percent.

Outlook Wednesday through Sunday...

Mainly dry weather follows Wednesday through Saturday with
afternoon high temperatures at or above seasonable norms. A storm
system approaches from the Great Lakes on Sunday bringing the
chance for showers. Gulf moisture could get tapped leading into
Monday.
