Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NW Oregon and SW Washington
National Weather Service Portland OR
214 PM PDT Wed Apr 25 2018

.BROADCAST DISCUSSION...East winds will increase across the
Cascade ridgetops and near the Gorge overnight, which will result
in a mild night and poor relative humidity recoveries. Marine
clouds currently on the coast will likely deepen and spread into
the Coast Range and southern Willamette Valley tonight before
spreading across the rest of the area and into the Cascades late
Thursday and Friday. There is a small chance of a thunderstorm or
two impacting our Oregon Cascade zones Thursday evening.

.DISCUSSION...East winds will increase across the Cascade
ridgetops and near the Gorge overnight, which will result in a
mild night and poor relative humidity recoveries. Marine clouds
currently along the coast will likely deepen and spread into the
Coast Range and southern Willamette Valley tonight before
spreading across the rest of the Willamette Valley and into the
Cascades late Thursday and Friday. There is a small chance of a
thunderstorm or two impacting our Oregon Cascade zones Thursday
evening. Cooler and showery weather will take hold Friday with a
good chance that many areas will receive wetting rains. Showery
weather and below average temperatures should continue through
the weekend before conditions look to slowly warm and dry out
during the early to middle part of next week.
