At 759 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30
knots. These thunderstorms were located across the central and
southern portions of the Laguna Madre and extending out to 30
nautical miles offshore of Padre Island from Baffin Bay down to the
mouth of the Rio Grande. The showers and thunderstorms are moving
east at around 20 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
