...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE BREVARD COUNTY WATERS...

The areas affected include...
  Daytona Beach to Melbourne Beach 0-60 nm...

At 338 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable
of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were
located along a line extending from near Mims to 13 nm east of
Playalinda Beach to 31 nm east of Port Canaveral, moving north at 25
knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots...locally higher
waves...lightning strikes...and heavy downpours. Boaters should seek
safe harbor immediately until these storms pass.

Report severe weather to the coast guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
forecast office.
