...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Hazardous
Seas Warning...which is in effect from 11 PM this evening to 5 AM
PDT Monday. A Small Craft Advisory has also been issued. This
Small Craft Advisory is in effect from 11 PM this evening to
11 AM PDT Monday.

* Winds...North 20 to 30 kt increasing to 25 to 35 kts with gusts
  up to 40 kts this afternoon and evening.

* Seas...Very steep wind driven seas at 10 to 13 feet today,
  lowering to steep to very steep seas of 9 to 11 feet tonight.
  Seas will lower to steep 8 to 10 ft seas Monday morning.

* Areas affected...Gales and very steep seas will affect all areas
  through this evening. Then tonight very steep seas will affect
  the waters south of Port Orford with small craft conditions
  elsewhere. Small craft advisory level winds and seas will
  continue on Monday morning across the area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occurring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that winds and seas will create a
potential hazard to smaller vessels and inexperienced mariners.

A Hazardous Seas Warning means very steep and hazardous sea
conditions are imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should
remain in port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial
vessels should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in
port or taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.

* Seas...Very steep wind driven seas at 10 to 13 feet today,

* Areas affected...Through this evening, gales and very steep seas
  will affect the waters beyond 3 nm from shore and near capes
  south of Nesika Beach and beyond 5 nm from shore from Nesika
  Beach northward. Tonight, very steep seas will affect the waters
  beyond 8 nm from shore south of Gold Beach with small craft
  conditions elsewhere. Small craft advisory level winds and seas
  will continue on Monday morning.

* Winds...North 15 to 20 kt increasing to 20 to 30 kt this
  afternoon and evening. Gale force gusts expected beyond 5 nm
  from shore south of Bandon.

* Seas...Very steep wind driven seas of 10 feet for waters south
  of Bandon beyond 5 nm from shore through this evening. Elsewhere
  steep seas of 8 to 9 feet. Steep seas of 7 to 9 feet linger
  tonight then seas will lower below advisory level Monday
  morning.

* Areas affected...All areas will be affected by small craft
  advisory level conditions except for areas of very steep seas
  and gale force winds south of Bandon beyond 5 nm from shore.
