...New Wind Gust Records for April 21...

Very strong winds swept across north central Montana on April 21.
Some locations recorded their highest gust of record for the day.
Other than a being a windy and warm day, it was very dry with
afternoon humidities dropping to as low as 15 percent. Some blowing
dust was also noted with the strong winds. The highest area gust was
75 mph at Deep Creek RAWS. Other notable gusts were 66 mph at a RAWS
west of Augusta, 63 mph at the Theodore Roosevelt Ranch west of
Pendroy, and 62 mph at Two Medicine.
