...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR EASTERN HOPKINS COUNTY UNTIL 600
PM CDT...

At 507 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles northeast of Como, or 12 miles east of Sulphur Springs, moving
northwest at 10 mph.

Pea sized hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Saltillo, Sulphur Springs, Como, Cooper Lake Park South Sulphur and
Tira.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead
to minor flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

If on or near Lake Sulphur Springs, get out of the water and move
indoors or inside a vehicle. If you can hear thunder, you are close
enough to be struck by lightning. Do not be caught on the water in a
thunderstorm.
