This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong easterly winds will continue this morning for portions of
the North Shore to Duluth with gusts of 45 to around 50 mph. A
Wind Advisory remains in effect through 7 AM for the North Shore
to the Duluth area. Use caution if driving high- profile vehicles.

A few thunderstorms will be possible this morning from the St.
Croix River Valley into northwest Wisconsin. Severe storms are
not expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
Rainfall amounts from spotters and the public are encouraged.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Strong east or northeast winds will continue along with high
waves. Gale Warnings and Small Craft Advisories are in effect into
this afternoon. The wind will back to northeast or north this
afternoon and decrease through the afternoon. See the Nearshore
Marine Forecast and Marine Weather Message for more details on the
wind and waves.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Westerly winds will ramp up again Thursday creating hazardous
conditions, especially for smaller vessels. The wind will
increase further Thursday night into Friday veering to northwest
Friday night. Winds will then decrease through the day Saturday.
An extended period of hazardous conditions are expected Thursday
into Saturday morning and Small Craft Advisories will be needed.
There is a 20 to 40 percent chance for gales around 35 knots
Friday afternoon and evening. See the Nearshore Marine Forecast
for more details on wind speed and waves.
