This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A winter storm will bring heavy snow, a wintry mix, and strong
winds today through Tuesday across the Northland. Travel
conditions are expected to become treacherous tonight through
Monday morning. Roads will become snow and ice covered and
slippery. Visibilities of 1/4 mile or less are likely in heavy
snow. Snow may change to freezing rain in northwest Wisconsin
tonight before changing to rain. Winter Storm Warnings are in
effect for the entire region, except along the north shore where a
Blizzard Warning is in effect.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

The winter storm continues to impact the region Monday and Tuesday
with treacherous travel conditions, especially in northeast
Minnesota on Monday morning into Monday afternoon. During the day
Monday precipitation will range from mainly rain in northwest
Wisconsin, a wintry mix from Brainerd to the Twin Ports and into
the Minnesota Arrowhead region, to remaining all snow in north-
central Minnesota north of the Iron Range. Strong northeast winds
will create Blizzard conditions on the north shore on Monday.
Snowfall amounts come mid day Monday will range from 6 to 12
inches across northwest Wisconsin and much of northeast Minnesota,
with lesser totals north of the Iron Range.

On Monday night into Tuesday the rain to wintry mix to snow
continues, with a changeover back to snow from west to east as
colder air arrives from west to east. Additional snowfall amounts
Monday night into Tuesday of around 1 to 5 inches.
