...Near Critical Fire Weather Conditions Over North-Central
Minnesota this Afternoon...

Gusty southwest winds and very low relative humidity will create
near critical fire weather conditions over north-central Minnesota
this afternoon through early this evening, including Koochiching
Count. There will be wind gusts of 20 to 25 mph and the humidity
will plummet to around 20 percent. The dry vegetation with these
weather conditions will result in a period of elevated fire
danger with the potential for wildfires. Please use caution and
refer to any burning restrictions today.
