URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...LAKE EFFECT SNOW IN IRON COUNTY THROUGH THIS EVENING...

.Lake effect snow is expected to persist through this evening
along and north of the Penokee Range of Iron county in northwest
Wisconsin. An additional 1 to 4 inches of accumulation is
possible. Expect slippery stretches on area roads, along with
some reduced visibilities, making travel difficult. Lake effect
snow showers will weaken later tonight with flurries anticipated
after midnight.

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations of up
  to 2 inches are expected.

* WHERE...Iron County.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM CDT Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Expect
  reduced visibilities at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for lake effect snow means lake effect
snow is forecast that will make travel difficult in some areas.
Use caution when traveling. The latest road conditions for
Minnesota can be found at 511mn.org, and for Wisconsin at
511wi.gov, or by calling 511 in either state.
