Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge of 30.4 inches over the Great Lakes will
prevail through the weekend before shifting slowly off the eastern
seaboard on Monday. Following this ridge, a weak 30.1 inch trough
will cross Lake Superior Monday night into Tuesday with another
high pressure ridge of 30.2 inches following on Wednesday. A
stronger low pressure trough of 29.8 inches will cross northern
Ontario and Lake Superior late Wednesday into Thursday.
