Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Low pressure of 29.6 inches will expand from the
Canadian prairies to the western Great Lakes today and tonight.
Expect the low pressure trough to linger across the Great Lakes
through the weekend. However it will weaken to 29.9 inches by
Monday as it moves to the lower Great Lakes. High pressure of 30.1
inches will then build across northern Ontario and the upper
Great Lakes by late Monday. By Tuesday, the 30.1 inch high will
move over Quebec.
