Open Lake Forecast for Lake Superior

For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A weak low pressure trough of 30.1 inches over the upper
Great Lakes will move toward the East Coast overnight as a high
pressure system of 30.4 inches over the northern Plains builds into
the region on Wednesday. Thursday, a low pressure trough of 29.9
inches will move through the Great lakes quickly followed by a
secondary low of 30.1 inches on Friday. The region will then
become dominated by a large ridge of 30.4 inches over the
Mississippi River Valley Saturday and beyond.
