.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected this
afternoon, with the highest coverage in east Georgia. Outside of any
rainfall, minimum RH values this afternoon are forecast to range
from near 50 percent in west-central Georgia to near 70 percent in
far northeast Georgia. Winds through the remainder of the afternoon
will be primarily S to SW at 4-8 mph. Winds will shift to SE after
sunset and into Sunday morning, at 4 mph or less. Winds will be S to
SW at 4-8 mph once again Sunday afternoon. Scattered showers and
thunderstorms are expected once again on Sunday, followed by more
widespread precipitation across the area on Monday. RH values will
range from 50-65 percent across the area on Sunday and Monday.
