Higher humidities over eastern areas today will increase further central and east on Saturday. There will be a chance for showers and thunderstorms over eastern areas today, then over the northern mountains and east on Saturday. Isolated dry thunderstorms are forecast over the continental divide region of northwest New Mexico on Saturday afternoon. A fire growing pattern will develop over central and western areas on Sunday, then spread to eastern areas as well Monday and Tuesday. The strongest winds are forecast Sunday, then speeds should weaken a little each day.
