...The National Weather Service in Burlington VT has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in New York...

  East Branch Ausable River At Ausable Forks affecting Clinton and
  Essex Counties.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO EARLY TOMORROW
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Branch Ausable River at Ausable Forks.

* WHEN...From this evening to early tomorrow afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Minor flooding can occur in Keene. Water
  begins to overflow onto Hulls Falls Road, Route 73, and Route 9N
  near Marcy Field. High water will impact interests at Alice Falls
  near Keeseville.
  At 8.0 feet, In Jay, water will cover Route 9N near Trumbulls
  Corner. Minor flooding can occur in Keene. Water begins to
  overflow onto Hulls Falls Road, Route 73, and Route 9N near Marcy
  Field. High water will impact interests at Alice Falls near
  Keeseville.
  At 9.0 feet, In Jay, water will approach Route 9N in the Stickney
  Bridge area. In Keene, water will cover Hulls Falls Road, and
  Routes 73 and 9N near Marcy Field.
  At 10.0 feet, Parkland and adjacent parking lots will flood in
  Ausable Forks. In Jay, portions of Route 9N near Stickney Bridge
  will flood. Water will back up onto Clark Lane and Carey Road.
  Downstream in Keeseville, water will approach businesses along
  north Ausable Street, as well as the Keeseville wastewater
  treatment plant. Upstream in Keene, water will cover Hulls Falls
  Road and Routes 73 and 9N near Marcy Field.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 10:25 PM EDT Friday the stage was 7.7 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 10:25 PM EDT Friday was 7.7 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.4
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    8.7 feet on 12/25/2020.
