This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Overnight.

Chances for isolated to scattered thunderstorm activity will
spread across the outlook area tonight. Much of this activity
will move in from west to east, especially in Nebraska counties,
but other activity will likely develop directly overhead,
especially in north central Kansas. While the majority of storms
that occur will likely be on the weaker side, most of the outlook
area is under a Marginal Risk for a few strong to severe storms.

In most of the Nebraska outlook area, the primary threat with any
potentially severe storms will be gusty winds up to around 60
MPH, while in north central Kansas along with perhaps the Thayer
County Nebraska vicinity, there could be a threat for a few storms
with large hail up to around ping pong ball size. Should any
storms with large hail develop, they would be most favored prior
to 1 AM.

In addition to any possible thunderstorm-induced wind gusts
overnight, the entire outlook area will see strengthening
northerly winds behind a passing cold front. Sustained speeds of
25 to 35 MPH, and gusts of at least 40 to 45 MPH are likely,
especially within counties south of Interstate 80 and including
north central Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Chances for a few thunderstorm return to parts of the area Monday
into Monday night.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are encouraged to report any possible instances of hail
or damaging winds that might occur overnight.
