...A THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WILL IMPACT CENTRAL
ANDERSON COUNTY UNTIL 1215 PM EDT...

At 1133 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with
torrential rainfall near Anderson, or near Northlake, moving north at
10 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Anderson, Williamston, Northlake, West Pelzer, Anderson Airport,
Homeland Park, Piedmont, Sandy Springs, and Broadway Lake.

Extreme rainfall rates in excess of 3 inches per hour will be
possible in these areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall may flood areas with poor drainage, such as
ditches and underpasses. Avoid these areas and do not cross flooded
roads. Water levels of small streams may also rise rapidly. Seek
higher ground if threatened by flood waters.
