...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 415 PM CDT...

At 338 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 12
miles southeast of Valentine National Wildlife Refuge, or 30 miles
north of Thedford, moving north at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wood Lake.

This includes Highway 20 between mile markers 218 and 223.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for north central
Nebraska.
