...The Flood Advisory continues for the following rivers in Nevada...
Owyhee River Below Wildhorse affecting Elko County.
.High mountain snow melt and increased reservoir releases will keep
river flow high. Minor flooding downstream from the dam is possible
in the coming days.
For the Owyhee River...including Wildhorse Dam, Wildhorse, Mountain
City...elevated river levels are forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternative route.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

releases are expected.
* WHERE...Owyhee River below Wildhorse.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, Flood stage; minor flooding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:30 PM PDT Tuesday the stage was 3.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 3.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river could rise above minor flood stage by
the weekend. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Action stage is 3.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 3.5 feet.
