...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast Illinois, including the following
  counties, Lake IL and McHenry.

* WHEN...Until 930 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
  Underpasses may be flooded. Roads and streets may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 744 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Up to 3
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - While the heavy rain has ended the Flood Advisory has been
    extended to account for any lingering minor flooding impacts.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waukegan, North Chicago, Gurnee, Mundelein, Round Lake Beach,
    McHenry, Zion, Grayslake, Libertyville, Round Lake, Antioch,
    Wauconda, Fox Lake, Lake Villa, Island Lake, Lindenhurst,
    Beach Park, Gages Lake, Park City and Round Lake Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Advisory means minor flooding along waterways and other poor
drainage areas is imminent or may already be occurring. Persons in
the advisory area should use caution and avoid flood waters.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
