The pattern transitions to cooler and wetter today
and persists into the weekend. A cold front will gradully move
west to east through the region today, bringing gustier south
winds, light to moderate rain, and mountain snow. The heaviest
precipitation is expected along the coast and in western and
south-central Siksiyou County, with lighter amounts elsewhere.
Showers will persist behind the front into early Sunday. More
systems will arrive early into mid next week.
