.DISCUSSION....Dry and warm weather will continue into Thursday.
The first signs of a change in the weather will be some mid-level
clouds and the development of breezy northwest winds at 10 to 15
mph on Thursday afternoon. Low pressure moving southeast from the
Gulf of Alaska to the California coast will bring rain chances
early Friday morning through Sunday morning. The highest
probability for rain will be late Saturday afternoon through
Saturday evening and secondarily during Friday afternoon through
Friday evening. The details are difficult to determine as this
will not be a case of a frontal passage with a distinct beginning
and end, but instead a series of disturbances will rotate around
the upper level low and across our area. Along with peak day-time
heating enhancing the probability of showers late in the day, it
will also bring a slight chance of thunderstorms.
