...Discussion from SFOFWFMTR...

Fair weather conditions will gradually turn unsettled over the next
48 hours as an approaching cold front moves in. Southerly winds will
increase Friday before widespread wetting rain, lower temperature
and higher humidity moves in Saturday. A gradual warming trend will
kick off Sunday as high pressure rebuilds.

...Discussion from SFOFWFEKA...

Warm and dry conditions are still in store through today, then
turning cooler and damp for Friday and the weekend. Rainfall
amounts will generally be near a half inch to an inch, with the top
end of a reasonable range (25-75% chance) over the period Friday to
Sunday to be near an inch. Thunder chances enter the forecast for
eastern Trinity and Mendocino Counties for Thursday afternoon and
evening. A trend warmer and drier weather is forecast for the next
work week. Look for some increased coastal wind gusts from the
north for Monday through Wednesday afternoon and evening, with
Tuesday afternoon standing out to be most likely to be strongest,
especially along the coast (e.g. 10-15% chance of wind gusts
greater than 40 mph for Eureka on Tuesday afternoon and evening).
There could be a small shot at some rain and even some
thundershowers focused over Del Norte County on Tuesday as a trough
takes aim into the northern Rockies.
