Northern Bollinger County in southeastern Missouri...
Perry County in southeastern Missouri...
Northeastern Wayne County in southeastern Missouri...
Northern Cape Girardeau County in southeastern Missouri...
* Until 945 PM CDT.
* At 904 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Roselle to near Lodi, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Law enforcement.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Perryville, Marble Hill, Bollinger Mill
State Historic Site, Altenburg, Patton, Millersville, Lodi,
Burfordville, Daisy, Alliance, Cascade, Frohna, Oak Ridge,
Sedgewickville, Pocahontas, Longtown, Old Appleton, and Lithium.
This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 100 and 139.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southern
Illinois...and southeastern Missouri.
