This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated frost risk.
  Elevated fire weather risk.

DISCUSSION...

Northerly wind gusts up to 20 to 25 mph will continue to occur
through the rest of this afternoon and will combine with a dry air
mass to lead to elevated fire weather conditions into early this
evening.

Areas of frost development are expected again tonight into Monday
morning for locations east of Interstate 49. Patchy frost will be
possible along and west of Interstate 49.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Gusty southerly winds up to around 30 mph will occur on Monday.
Elevated fire weather conditions will occur again on Monday as a
dry air mass and the gusty winds combine.

There is a 20 to 60 percent chance of showers Tuesday, mainly
across central Missouri.

Higher chances of showers and thunderstorms, 40 to 80 percent
chances, return Thursday and Friday. Some strong to severe
thunderstorms may be possible on Friday. Shower and storm chances
could linger into next weekend.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
