.DISCUSSION...A weak frontal boundary will continue to lift
northward across northern Utah today. A few weak showers will
continue to develop near this boundary, affecting the burn site
mainly during the morning hours and again during the evening.
Measurable precipitation will be difficult could come by, but
expect a few quick sprinkles accompanied by potentially brief
gusty winds. Otherwise, temperatures continue to remain a bit on
the cool side today with winds remaining northerly. Temperatures
will warm tomorrow as the boundary continues to lift north of the
burn site and winds turn more southerly. Being close to the lake
and with the cool airmass in place, mixing conditions will not be
very good today. They improve tomorrow, but clearing index is
expected to remain under 500. A pattern change is then expected
Thursday into the weekend with cooler, wet weather expected. This
will also create enough mixing to bring clearing indices above 500
for this timeframe.
