...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Kansas...

  Pottawatomie Creek at Lane affecting Franklin County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO TUESDAY
AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Pottawatomie Creek at Lane.

* WHEN...From this evening to Tuesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Minor low land flooding begins along the
  creek.
  At 24.0 feet, Douglas Road floods about a quarter mile northwest
  of Lane.
  At 25.0 feet, Cloud Road, also known as the road to Richmond floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.8
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    late tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
