FOR THE WINTER SEASON /DEC JAN FEB/ THE FARGO HECTOR INTERNATIONAL
AIRPORT HAD BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES AND WELL ABOVE NORMAL
PRECIPITATION.

THE FARGO HECTOR INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT AVERAGED 8.9 DEGREES WHICH
WAS 3.7 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL. THE COLDEST WINTER SEASON RECORDED WAS
THE 1886/1887 SEASON WHICH AVERAGED -4.5 DEGREES.

TOTAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE SEASON TOTALED 3.41 INCHES WHICH WAS
1.27 INCHES ABOVE NORMAL. NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE WINTER SEASON
IS 2.14 INCHES. RECORD PRECIPITATION FOR THE SEASON IS 4.28 INCHES
WHICH WAS SET BACK IN THE 2009/2010 SEASON.

SNOWFALL FOR THE WINTER SEASON WAS MUCH ABOVE NORMAL WITH A TOTAL OF
40.9 INCHES. NORMAL SNOW IS 29.4 INCHES WHICH IS 11.5 INCHES ABOVE
NORMAL.
