.Updated flood information for the Cedar River, Iowa River and
English River.

River forecasts include past precipitation and forecast rainfall for
the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an
alternate route. Turn around, don`t drown.

...Flood Warning now in effect until Tuesday...

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Cedar River AT Palo Blairs Ferry Rd.
* Until Tuesday.
* At 9:15 PM Friday the stage was 11.5 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.5 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage Saturday and continue rising to
  12.7 feet Sunday morning. The river will fall below flood stage
  Tuesday, however additional rains this weekend could cause the
  flooding to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At 12.5 feet, Minor Flood Stage, the Chain Lakes area is
  affected by flood waters.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Cedar River at Cedar Rapids.
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 10.7 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue
  rising to 13.0 feet Sunday. The river will fall below flood stage
  Wednesday morning, however additional rains this weekend
  could cause the flooding to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At 13.0 feet, water affects the lowest residences in Cedar
  Bluff.

  The Cedar River at Cedar Bluff.
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At  9:00 PM Friday the stage was 13.5 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage Saturday evening and continue
  rising to 16.5 feet Tuesday morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage Wednesday morning, however additional rains this
  weekend could cause the flooding to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At 16.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage, agricultural land is
  flooded.

  The Cedar River near Conesville.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 13.4 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise to 15.5 feet Monday evening, then begin falling.
* Impact: At 15.5 feet, water affects residences along County Road
  G28 and affects several gravel roads.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Iowa River at Marengo.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 17.4 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast: Rise to 18.2 feet Sunday evening, then begin falling,
  however additional rains this weekend could cause the flooding
  to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At 18.0 feet, water breaches the mill race dikes near
  Middle Amana.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Iowa River near Lone Tree.
* Until Tuesday evening.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 14.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue
  rising to 17.8 feet Monday morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage Tuesday evening, however additional rains this weekend
  could cause the flooding to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At 16.0 feet, flood Stage. Flood waters affect parts of
  Lola Lane and Y Avenue. River Junction Access Park is closed due
  to flooding.

  The Iowa River at Columbus Jct.
* Until Wednesday.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 19.1 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage Sunday evening and continue
  rising to 23.9 feet Tuesday morning. The river will fall below
  flood stage Wednesday, however additional rains this weekend
  could cause the flooding to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At  23.0 feet, Flood Stage. Water affects residential
  property along the river south of the Iowa Highway 92 Bridge.
  Locust St is closed at the bridge over Monkey Run.

* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 20.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise above flood stage Saturday morning and continue
  rising to 24.6 feet Wednesday morning, however additional rains
  this weekend could cause the flooding to extend to later in the
  week.
* Impact: At 22.0 feet, water affects residences near the U.S.
  Highway 61 bridge.

  The Iowa River at Oakville.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 11.5 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast: Rise to 14.7 feet Wednesday morning, then begin falling,
  however additional rains this weekend could cause the flooding to
  extend to later in the week. .
* Impact: At 12.0 feet, flooding of agricultural land is ongoing.
  Several county roads are under water and closed.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The English River at Kalona.
* Until Monday evening.
* At 9:00 PM Friday the stage was 15.9 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast: Rise to 17.5 feet Sunday morning. Fall below flood stage
  Monday evening, however additional rains this weekend
  could cause the flooding to extend to later in the week.
* Impact: At 17.0 feet, water begins going over several county
  roads, including 13th St, Kiwi Ave, Orange Ave and Poplar Ave.
