...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Big Muddy River near Murphysboro

.Minor flooding continues along the Big Muddy River near Murphysboro.
Water levels continue to rise slowly, and the river is forecast to
crest near 24.3 feet Tuesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Big Muddy River near Murphysboro
* until further notice.
* At 11:00 AM Monday the stage was 23.9 feet.
* Flood Stage is 22.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 24.3 feet by
  tomorrow morning then begin falling.
* Impact...At 24.0 Feet...Some minor flooding in S 3rd & Division /
  Plum Street area.
