The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Kay County in northern Oklahoma...
  Northern Noble County in northern Oklahoma...
  Grant County in northern Oklahoma...
  Garfield County in northern Oklahoma...

* Until 800 AM CDT Tuesday.

* At 153 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated moderate to locally heavy
  rain. Although additional amounts are expected to be minor,
  ongoing flooding from earlier heavy rain is extensive. Some roads
  are likely impassible. Flooding will persist through the early
  morning hours.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Enid, Ponca City, Blackwell, Tonkawa, Medford, Newkirk, Waukomis,
  Pond Creek, Garber, Covington, Billings, Lamont, Kaw City, Red
  Rock, Marshall, Kremlin, Breckenridge, Marland, Braman and Hunter.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
