.NOW...
Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to develop this
afternoon along the western front of the Cascades. Once they
develop, expect storms to move to the north-northwest. This could
bring thunderstorms into the lowlands, with lightning and thunder
possible between I-5 and the Cascades. The main threat will be
lightning, but a few minutes of intense rainfall are also possible
with any storms. If skies grow dark or you start to hear thunder,
head indoors or at least to the safety of a vehicle.
