Weather Summary for Eastern Nebraska and Southwest Iowa
National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE
1020 AM CDT Mon Apr 23 2018

Weak surface high pressure will remain in place over the mid
Missouri Valley today, yielding abundant sunshine with afternoon
temperatures warming into the upper 60s to mid 70s. Due to the dry
air mass in place and the presence of cured, fine fuels, very high
fire danger will exist through the afternoon.

The high pressure will begin to shift east of the area tonight in
advance of a cold front approaching the region from the west. Clouds
will gradually increase with temperatures dipping into the lower to
mid 40s late tonight into Tuesday morning.
