The National Weather Service will use NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards
to conduct a test tornado drill today April 11th. Around 100 PM EDT,
the National Weather Service will use their Routine Weekly Test on
NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards to simulate an actual Tornado Warning.

These tests will cover all counties in Michigan, and will
originate from the NWS Offices at Grand Rapids, Gaylord, Marquette,
Detroit/Pontiac, and Northern Indiana. Persons are urged to practice
their tornado safety measures during the drill.

To all media in the state, please be aware of these messages and
take appropriate actions as necessary. The message will be sent out
on NOAA Weather Radio EAS Encoding Units using the Routine Weekly

NOAA Weather Radio listeners, please be aware that the NOAA Weather
Radio Alarm Tone will be activated today April 11th for the Routine
Weekly Test (RWT SAME CODE), but the NWS Offices will have a special
