Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Southwest Lower Michigan
National Weather Service Grand Rapids MI
353 AM EDT Thu Apr 19 2018

...A Prolonged Period of Dry Weather expected into early next
week...

.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will slowly move into the Great Lakes region from the
west today and tonight. A breezy north wind of 10 to 20 mph can be
expected today, but much calmer conditions are expected for Friday
and Saturday. Dry weather is forecast right through the upcoming
weekend. In fact, the next chance for precipitation in the forecast
is all the way out on next Tuesday night and Wednesday. Fuels will
certainly dry out over the next 3 to 5 days. A slow warming trend is
expected as well, with temperatures reaching near 60 by Sunday.
