The following forecasts are for rivers in southwest lower michigan...

For the Pere Marquette River Near Scottville... the latest stage was
2.8 feet at 9 PM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum
stage forecasted is 4.1 feet early Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is
5.5 feet.  At 4.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow of low lying
areas adjacent to the river occurs..

For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 8.6 feet at 9
PM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 10.0 feet Sunday evening.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.  At 10.0
feet... River is bankfull..

For the Little Muskegon River Above Morley... no observed stage was
available.  No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is
4.0 feet Sunday morning.  Flood stage is 6.0 feet.  At 4.0 feet...
River is bankfull..

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage was 4.1
feet at 9 PM Friday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.0 feet early Monday morning.  Flood stage is 8.0
feet.  At 6.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low
lying areas adjacent to the river including portions of the Mount
Pleasant Country Club Golf Course..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
