Hydrologic Statement

...Water levels are high or forecast to have rises to bankfull for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Ionia...Looking Glass
River at Eagle...

.Water levels will remain near bankfull through the next week, with
only a small contribution from snow melt. A few snow showers are
expected today, but these will have little to no impact on water levels.
The weather will remain primarily dry through the weekend. The following
forecast is based on observed and forecast 48 hour precipitation.

For the Grand River At Ionia... the latest stage was 13.6 feet at 9
AM Tuesday.  No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 14.0 feet Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 5.3
feet at 9 AM Tuesday.  No flooding is forecast.  The river has
fallen M feet in the past 24 hours.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.  At 5.0
feet... River is bankfull..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
