...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Jackson...Eaton
Rapids...Red Cedar at Williamston...East Lansing...Looking Glass
River at Eagle...Thornapple River at Hastings...Portage River at
Vicksburg...

.An area of showers and thunderstorms will track through the region
late tonight into Monday morning. Most locations are expected to see
less than a half inch of rain from this next system. Locations in
the Kalamazoo basin could see in excess of a half inch of rain.
The following forecast is based on observed and forecast 24 hour
precipitation.

For the Grand River At Jackson... the latest stage was 12.5 feet at 9
PM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 13.4 feet tomorrow early afternoon.  Flood stage is 14.0 feet.  At
13.0 feet... River is bankfull. River begins to flow into low lying
areas..

For the Grand River At Eaton Rapids... no observed stage was
available.  No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted is
5.0 feet after midnight tonight.  Flood stage is 6.0 feet.  At 5.0
feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor overflow into low lying
areas..

For the Red Cedar River Above Williamston... the latest stage was 6.6
feet at 9 PM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 7.2 feet Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 9.0 feet.  At
7.0 feet... River is bankfull. Overflow begins in low lying areas
adjacent to the river..

For the Red Cedar River At East Lansing... the latest stage was 5.8
feet at 9 PM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.2 feet tomorrow evening.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
At 6.0 feet... River reaches bankfull and low lying areas flood..

For the Looking Glass River Near Eagle... the latest stage was 4.9
feet at 10 PM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 5.8 feet early Tuesday morning.  Flood stage is 7.0
feet.  At 6.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of low lying wooded
areas..

For the Thornapple River Above Hastings... the latest stage was 5.1
feet at 9 PM Sunday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.4 feet Wednesday morning.  Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
At 7.0 feet... Expect minor flooding of Tyden Park in Hastings, and
homes upstream and downstream of Hastings..

For the Portage River Near Vicksburg... the latest stage was 4.6 feet
at 5 AM Saturday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 4.9 feet tomorrow early afternoon.  Flood stage is 5.0
feet.  At 5.0 feet... Expect overflows into wooded areas and farmland
adjacent to the river..
