...Water levels are high or forecast to have significant rises for
the following rivers or creeks:  Grand River at Grand Rapids...
Muskegon River at Evart...Newaygo...Bridgeton...Chippewa River at Mt
Pleasant...

For the Grand River At Grand Rapids... the latest stage was 11.2 feet
at 9 PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.0 feet Saturday early afternoon.  Flood stage is
18.0 feet.

For the Muskegon River At Evart... the latest stage was 9.8 feet at 9
PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage forecasted
is 10.6 feet Monday morning.  Flood stage is 12.0 feet.  At 10.5
feet... Flood waters begin to surround homes upstream of Evart in the
Jeffery subdivision along Linden and Riverside Roads. Portions of
Linden and Riverside Roads in the Jeffery subdivision begin to go
underwater. High water also begins to cover Trout Drive in the Doc
and Tom subdivision located just east of m66 off of 9 Mile Road..

For the Muskegon River At Newaygo... the latest stage was 9.9 feet at
9 PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 10.5 feet Saturday early afternoon.  Flood stage is
11.0 feet.  At 11.0 feet... The river starts exceeding its banks and
minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river..

For the Muskegon River AT Bridgeton... the latest stage was 11.6 feet
at 9 PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 12.4 feet early Sunday morning.  Flood stage is 13.0
feet.  At 12.0 feet... The river is bankfull.  .

For the Chippewa River Below Mt Pleasant... the latest stage was 5.8
feet at 9 PM Thursday.   No flooding is forecast.  The maximum stage
forecasted is 6.1 feet early Saturday morning.  Flood stage is 8.0
feet.  At 6.0 feet... River is bankfull. Expect minor flooding of low
lying areas adjacent to the river including portions of the Mount
Pleasant Country Club Golf Course..

Safety message...Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
