Open Lake Forecast for Lake Erie

For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Erie

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...
A large area of high pressure 30.80 inches over Quebec will move
east. Low pressure 29.60 inches on the Ohio Indiana border will
move near central Lake Erie by this evening and to New England by
Monday night. High pressure 30.00 inches will slide across the
western Great Lakes Monday and the eastern lakes on Tuesday. Low
pressure 29.50 inches from the Plains will cross the Great Lakes
mid week.

25 knots. Rain showers. Waves 8 to 12 feet subsiding to 7 to
10 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.TONIGHT...Winds becoming west 5 to 15 knots. Rain showers early,
then a chance of rain showers. Waves 4 to 7 feet subsiding to 1
to 3 feet. Waves occasionally around 9 feet.
.MONDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of rain showers in
the afternoon. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.MONDAY NIGHT...West winds 20 to 25 knots. A chance of rain and
snow showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet.
.TUESDAY...West winds 15 to 20 knots becoming northwest 5 to
15 knots. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 1 to 3 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southeast winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southwest. A
chance of rain showers. Waves 2 feet or less.
