For waters beyond five nautical miles off shore on Lake Huron

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.40 inches, builds from central
Canada into the Great Lakes for the weekend. Northerly wind down
Lake Huron occurs ahead of the high pressure center which keeps
waves elevated today until high pressure settles overhead Sunday.
A large low pressure system moves from the central Plains to
upper Midwest while producing strong southeast wind across the
Great Lakes early next week.

.REST OF TODAY...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 10 to 15 knots becoming light and
variable. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SUNDAY...Light and variable winds becoming southeast 5 to
10 knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then
increasing to 10 to 15 knots early in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet
or less.
.SUNDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots. A chance of snow
showers. Waves 3 to 5 feet building to 5 to 7 feet after
midnight. Waves occasionally around 10 feet.
.MONDAY...Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots becoming east to
30 knots late in the morning...then decreasing to 20 to 25 knots
late in the afternoon becoming southeast 15 to 20 knots late in
the evening. Gusts to 35 knot gales. A chance of showers. Waves
8 to 12 feet. Waves occasionally around 15 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southeast winds 20 to 25 knots decreasing to 15 to
20 knots until early evening...then becoming south 10 to 15 knots
in the late evening and early morning. Gusts to 35 knot gales.
Showers...then showers likely in the late evening and early
morning. Waves 10 to 14 feet. Waves occasionally around 18 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers
early in the morning. Waves 4 to 6 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet
until early morning. Waves occasionally around 8 feet.
